Moussaka is an eggplant- or potato-based dish, often including ground meat. Layers of freshly sliced potato, sliced eggplant, sauteed beef mince topped with a creamy cheese bechamel sauce. Served with tomato salsa and cheese.
Pastitsio is a Greek baked pasta dish that contains ground beef and béchamel sauce. The typical Greek version has a bottom layer that is bucatini or other tubular pasta, with cheese and egg as a binder; a middle layer of ground beef with tomato and cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice; another layer of pasta; and a top layer of sauce, an egg-based custard. Grated cheese is sprinkled on top.

Galaktoboureko is a Greek dessert of semolina custard in filo. It may be made in a pan, with filo layered on top and underneath and cut into square portions, or rolled into individual servings. It is served or coated with a clear, sweet syrup.
Ekmek Kataifi is a bread pudding dessert popular in the Greek cuisine although its origin comes from the former Ottoman Empire. It is usually served with kaymak, a kind of clotted cream and trimmed nuts on top. Our Greek version of Ekmek Kataifi is homemade.
